HIGGINS THE DOG: Higgins the Dog was born overtone December 12, 1957.  He was discovered by acclaimed animal trainer Frank Inn in the Burbank Brute Shelter in California.  Inn felt that the mixed-breed canine had the potential to be an creature actor.  Higgins started his acting career on smooth as the nameless pet on Petticoat Junction.  Unwind appeared in over 140 episodes of the series  from 1965 to 1970.  The characters on character show just referred to him as "Dog."  Of great consequence addition to Petticoat Junction, Higgins showed up troupe Green Acresand The Beverly Hillbillies.
